Creating Balance Through Natural Nutrition and Exercise

Measuring tape for Fat loss ChallengeI’m having a pretty good day today so far nutrition wise….no serious cheating anyway. Today is a rest day with the triathlon coming up on Sunday, so I’m not as hungry as I have been. I’m a bit tired, but I think that’s due to a restless night’s sleep rather than the nutrition plan. I’m getting worried about the swim and bike portions of the race being primarily a runner.

I’m finding it a bit tough to stay really focused and motivated as I know John will be cheating up a storm;) Also there’s always the fact that even if he doesn’t follow Tara’s plan to the letter, he’ll probably still lose more weight than me just because he’s a man. I think we need to up the ante……….John??

  1. That’s great Laura that you are not feeling hungry. When eating enough of the right foods you should feel satisfied and full on energy! Continue focusing on green vegetables, whole grains and lean meats. Try to add more protein to breakfast and make sure all your snacks have some protein as well.
As for staying focused, think of the goal. You want to do well in Chicago and it will be that much easier to run 42.2k if you are at your ideal body weight. Your efforts will be rewarded with a great result!
