Warm coconut oil in a large sauce pan over medium heat.

Add spices for 1-2 minutes.

Add onions and let simmer for a couple minutes.

Add peeled and chopped yam, carrots, beets

Add cans of beans, rinsed

Add 1 can coconut milk, bring to a boil and reduce.
