Cliantro Beef Stirfry

A quick little stir-fry with big flavour

  • 400 g flank or other steak thinly sliced
  • 2 large portobello mushrooms thinly sliced
  • 1 zucchini sliced
  • 1 red pepper sliced
  • 2 cubes of frozen cilantro
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp hot chilli flakes
  • 1 head of broccoli
  • salt and peper to taste


  1. Warm a pan for a few minutes over medium heat
  2. Add thinly sliced beef strips
  3. Turn after 1 minute per side
  4. Once browned on all sides add to vegetable mixture
  5. Warm another pan for a few minutes over medium heat
  6. Add butter and frozen cilantro cube and stir together
  7. Add sliced portobello mushroom, sautee for a few minutes until tender
  8. Add red pepper strips and zucchini slices
  9. Chop broccoli into bit sized flouretts and add to pan. Cover to steam or turn frequently to cook through
  10. Flavour with hot chilli, salt and pepper
