Join Coach Tara for weekly interval training sessions at Riverdale track on Wednesday’s. Arrive at ~6:15pm, to get your warm up done, so you can get down business at 6:30pm.
Interval Training is more fun with people and it is a crucial part of proper training. Interval training increases VO2max, increases running economy, prevents injury, increases hormones required for optimal performance and so on. If you’re looking to get faster and learn proper (race) pacing, then join the group and be ready to have a blast.
What to expect:
The night starts with 10-15 minutes of dynamic warm ups, drills, skills + activation designed to help you work on form, agility and prime your body to run hard. The remainder of the session will be focused on interval training including the occasional hill. If you’re on a recovery week or racing recommendations will be provided to modify the workout.
Yup it’s going to be hard…BUT YOU’LL WALK AWAY WITH A SMILE AND WANTING MORE!!!
I’m dividing the summer into 2 blocks
- May, June, July – 12 sessions (excluding Canada Day)
- Aug, Sept Oct – 12 session up to and including Oct 21st
Fees:
- HEAL coached athletes – $10/session ($120 per block or $230 for full summer/fall)
- TTC and previous track athletes – $13/session ( $156 per block or $300 full summer/fall)
- Non TTC/Other – $15 per session ($180 or $350 for full summer/fall)
