Green Lentil Soup
December 10, 2025It’s time to take a deep dive into your nutrition habits and fuelling practices to set yourself up for success in your next event!
Training for endurance events requires planning, discipline, and consistency, but for many athletes, nutrition is still an afterthought. Guessing what to eat, how to fuel workouts, or how to recover properly can leave you under-fuelled, inconsistent, and unsure if you’re doing things “right.”
This 5-part, 7 week workshop will break the concept of sports nutrition down into bite-sized pieces so you can get a handle on what you do well, and where you can improve. This program is designed to remove the guesswork from fuelling, so you can train, recover, and race with confidence so you know exactly how to eat day in and day out to support your training and long-term performance.
Sports nutrition isn’t just about race day, it’s about what you do every day. The way you eat impacts your energy, ability to recover, your sleep quality, overall health, and of course athletic performance.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to:
- Nourish your body daily so your training actually leads to adaptation and progress, as well as reduce risk of injury and illness
- Optimize sleep as a health & performance tool so you eat better, recover faster and feel more resilient
- Fuel and hydrate workouts and races so you can train harder and race stronger
- Support gut health to limit GI issues in training and on race day
- Learn about specific foods and dietary supplements that boost performance for that extra 1%

- Week 1: Daily nutrition for the endurance athlete
-
Build a strong foundation so your training is supported, not sabotaged. Learn how to balance carbohydrates, protein, and fats, understand energy availability, and avoid the performance costs of under-fuelling. We will also discuss the pro’s and con’s of calorie restriction and trying to lose weight in-season.
- Develop your own personalized meal plan and learn how to tweak it for easy days, moderate days and hard days.
-
- Week 2: Sleep
- Think of good sleep as your magic pill and a key to nutrition success! Learn how nutrition and sleep work are intertwined. Good sleep leads to better nutritional decisions and together you will recover better, adapt faster, and feel more consistent in training.
- Understand how much sleep you need and how to improve sleep quality as an endurance athlete.
- Week 3: Training Nutrition & Hydration
- In training nutrition is a balance of 3 levers: Hydration, Fuel and Sodium. Stop guessing and start planning. Learn what to eat and drink, when, and how much so workouts feel stronger and recovery improves whether you’re training short or long course.
- Create your in-training nutrition plan for different situations to help guide your intake throughout your season.
- Week 4: Gut Health
- Understand how the gut impacts energy, immunity, and performance so GI issues don’t derail your training or race day.
- Learn how to “train the gut” and reduce GI distress.
- Week 5: Performance Boosts & Special Environments
- Explore evidence-based strategies like caffeine, bicarb, nitrates and other supplements to give you that extra 1%. We’ll also discuss how your nutrition changes when racing in heat, humidity, cold and altitude
- Be prepared for challenging conditions instead of reacting to them.
- April 6th at 6pm. Wrap up call
- Final Q&A and integration session to ensure you leave with clarity, confidence, and a plan you can actually execute
- Create your nutrition troubleshooting toolbox!
