HEAL spoke about clean eating for the triathlete and how it’s important to eat to train and not train to eat!  Many athlete take the attitude that they can eat whatever they want because of all the training they do, but the reality is that the more you train the better you need to eat, so you can support the demands you place on your body.  We discussed the health impacts of sugar and how to minimize it in your daily diet due to the prevalence in the training diet.
