Dalis was referred to me by our mutual chiropractor to help her with her training and racing nutrition for her upcoming season involving both an Ironman 70.3 and marathon. Over her training season of about 8 months I assessed her existing nutrition plan for both day-to-day and in-training nutrition and provided her with a plan for where she was in her training cycle. As the months went on we re-assessed and continued to modify and adapt the plan to where her training was then to ensure the plan was progressing along with her training. Prior to each race we met again to make sure that she had her race day nutrition plan dialled in as well as a tool box full of trips and tricks to navigate things properly if they didn’t go to plan. Dalis completed her 70.3 an hour and 20 mins faster than the year before as well as her first marathon just 4 weeks later! Congrats on a great season Dalis!
Going into a tough training block -a triathlon (70.3) followed by my first marathon- I knew I needed to step up my nutrition.
